(“The third imperative is to enhance government spending efficiency and effectiveness while improving budget allocations to where economic and social returns generated are the highest or where there are high multiplier effects,” he said.)
A correct and thorough assessment of the effectiveness criteria for any budget. If implemented, it will be good for the whole of Malaysia.
With 40% of poverty incidence is Sabah, spending the lowest amount of development budget, 50 cents compared to the richer Malaya, certainly does not increase the social return for the development expenditure. The destruction of the social well being in Sabah to the point of making Sabah the poorest in the world will surely create social and economic problems for the rest of Malaysia.
To spend only 50 cents to Sabah, despite it being the largest revenue earner, will surely lower the economic return of the excessive (100% more) investment in regions of less revenue (Malaya).
The infrastructure in Sabah is the worst in the world, not due to overloading or corruption, it is just a result of the high economic activities required to generate the highest revenues in oil palm, timber and even oil. The more anything is used, the faster they break down is a universal fact. Even I, consistently the best student in Sabah, was fooled by the stupid propaganda by dajjals, that it is corruption that caused the infrastructure to be in such poor state, that it is the worst in the world. It is the heavy usage lah, you idiots. It took Youtube channels, Not Just Bikes, to awaken me.
Just imagine if Sabah were given a more fair allocation of the budget, just equal to Malaya instead of just half that currently Sabah got. It will mean faster delivery of products, cheaper because less breakdown caused by poor road, which can certainly improve revenue generation even more. More revenue from Sabah, means more revenue for Malaya who still get most of the revenue, whether compliant with the Malaysia Agreement 1963 or not.
