Ridiculous Un Sabahan Names

I just cannot understand why perfectly good names of Sabahan places are simply adultered in the name of Malaysia. Yes, imperialist Malaya that renamed itself Malaysia. Not satisfied with robbing Sabah of its resources making it consistently the poorest in Malaysia for decades, and therefore the poorest in the world with poverty rates exceeding 20%, they even adultered names of places.

Simpang Mengayau should Simpang Mengazou;

Bawang Jamal should be Bavang Jamal, sungai Jamal;

If you want to Malayanised the name pick the correct name.

Kulambu become Kelambu, because it was originally for Kuala Berlabuh, not Kelambu

Menggatal should be Manggatal, because Menggatal is a vulgar word;

So names like

Sepiluk should be Sipilok, the name of a person;

Luckily Sikuati is not changed to meaningless Sekuati,

Similar names are Siguntur, Sibuga, so names like:
