 Not only the greatest and most successful rebellion against the British by Mat Salleh completely erased by the Malaysians claiming to be the only Malaysians, they even erased the contributions from Sabahans because they think that Sabahans are not Malaysians.

They glorify the insignificant Mat Kilau that has little success against the British. Even in sports, the fact that Matlan Marjan managed to score 2 goals against the England A team was not even recorded in Malaysia, only in England. Even Diego Maradona, the greatest footballer ever only managed to score 1 true goal while the other is an illegal goal.

My father was the commanding officer of the PZ class boat. He told me that only 4 commandos went into the jungle. Shanmugam could be the supporting group because he didn't even carry his rifle with him.

Unfortunately my father didn't mention about being bombed.

The Lahad Datu incident was caused by the incompetence of the Malayan officers who were present in large numbers but are mostly incompetent but arrogant. Their mess had to be cleared by Sabahan officers and commandos.

Read carefully how incompetent a few fully armed policeman can be overwhelmed by a single machete wielding man leading to unnecessary casualties. Totally incompetent. The VAT team that was shot was also incompetent and taken over by local commandos and soldiers who are more familiar and probably less targeted by the rebels labelled as terrorists.
