Undeported Illegal Immigrants are Victims of Human Trafficking

Unfortunately, these illegal immigrants are not deported because they have employers. This is the crux of the problems. Locals that employ illegal immigrants.

What is the point of the database? Once you catch an illegal immigrant, you are supposed to enter them in the police records or databases.

The law is simple. Once an illegal is employed, they are no longer illegal. They become exploited labour, or human trafficking, of which Malaysia is the 3rd worst behind China and Russia. Worst, even under Malaysian constitiution, their children become citizens despite being denied any documentation. Can the authorities prove where the children's parents had come from, without any documentation?

Their parents may be illegal, but once you do not deport them, their status are no longer illegal, but victimised. Why do not you deport them the last time they were caught? 

It may be caused by corruption, but it means that the illegals had become victims also. Victims of corruption. The end result is they were not deported and therefore become residents. Residents who are not recognised in any way, either through the issuance of identification cards or records in a database are victims also.

That is the major problem in Malaysian immigration detention centres. Most of them are victims of human trafficking. No effort was made to find out who the victimisers are, either the employers or the corrupt officers.
